She's a husky mix who survived cancer, has more energy than some dogs half her age, and has somehow figured out how to open doors and scale fences. She is, in every sense, a force of nature.
She loves other dogs and cats, rides happily in the car, and is house and crate trained. She does best with an owner who can give her a secure space when unsupervised, because this girl will absolutely use her talents if given the chance. She also might be part mountain goat.
Ten years old, cancer survivor, still going strong. Luna just needs someone who's ready to meet her where she is and love her for exactly who she is. Her birthday is next week. It would mean the world to see her spend it in a home of her own.

This gorgeous girl is as sweet as her name. Pearl is a 4-year-old Boxer mix with a short tan & white coat, soulful eyes, and a personality that absolutely lights up a room. At 55 lbs, she's the perfect medium-sized companion, snuggly enough to curl up with you on the couch but with enough energy to keep life fun.
Pearl is affectionate, cuddly, and both kid and dog friendly, making her a wonderful fit for families who already have a furry friend at home. She walks well in a harness and is a perfect car rider, proof that she's eager to learn and grow with the right family by her side.
And her health? Totally covered. Pearl is spayed, fully vaccinated, microchipped, treated for parasites, and as a proud HLCR Diamond Alumni, she has successfully completed heartworm treatment. She came through it like a champ and is now 100% ready…
Our adorable pups are experts at fetching, sitting, and melting hearts, but they're terrible at posting themselves on adoption websites. (Trust us, we've tried.) We need volunteers to help showcase these deserving dogs online and connect them with their forever families. It's important work that truly saves lives, and you can do it in your pajamas with a cup of coffee. If you've got a few hours a week and a soft spot for wagging tails, we'd love your help. No experience needed, just a internet enabled device and a heart that says "yes" to puppy eyes.

This little guy came to us as one of 49 dogs from a hoarding situation. He was so shy when he first arrived, scared of just about everything. But we knew there was a loving dog in there, just waiting for the right person.
Well, he found her. A little girl came to meet him, and something magical happened. Ghost, who usually keeps his distance, walked right up to her. Just like that, he knew he was home. His new grandma adopted him so her granddaughter could have the best friend she's been dreaming of.

Listen up, humans. It's Freya, your friendly neighborhood Anatolian Shepherd, and I've been monitoring the forecast. Wintry weather incoming this weekend, and frankly, I'm concerned about your preparedness levels.
As someone who was literally bred to protect flocks in the mountains of Turkey, I feel obligated to point out that your Chihuahua in the backyard is NOT equipped for this. Neither is your outdoor cat who "likes it out there." They're just trying to make you feel better. Bring them inside.
