There is a quiet crisis unfolding in our partner shelters. As puppy season arrives, the sheer number of incoming litters has overwhelmed available space. Heartbreakingly, dozens of healthy puppies are being euthanized every single week simply because there is nowhere for them to go.
At Highland Lakes Canine Rescue, we believe every small life deserves a beginning. We are looking for compassionate foster heroes to open their hearts and homes for a few weeks at a time. Fostering is a rewarding journey that costs you nothing but your time and affection. We provide the supplies, the medical care, and the support you need. You provide the safety of a spare bit of space and the much-needed love and care to help them thrive.
By becoming a foster, you are quite literally the difference between a life lost and a life found. These puppies have no voice to ask for help, so we are asking for them.
