About
Fang’s journey is a testament to true strength and spirit. When he first arrived at the shelter, he was paralyzed from the waist down. X-rays revealed a BB lodged next to his spine. After spinal surgery, weeks of crate rest, and dedicated care, Fang has made miraculous strides and is officially ready to find his forever home!
Despite his difficult past, Fang is an outgoing, joyful little guy who doesn't let anything slow him down. He loves playing with other dogs, exploring outside, and going on fun adventures. Above all, he is an absolute cuddle bug who will gladly melt into your lap after a fun day of playing.
Ideal Home & Special Care Needs
While Fang has come a long way, he remains a special-needs pup who needs an attentive and loving adopter:
Adults / Older Teens Preferred: Fang is uncomfortable around small children. He needs an adult-only home or one with older, dog-savvy kids who respect his space.
Elimination Support: Fang hasn't fully regained complete feeling or strength in his bladder and bowels. He will need an adopter who is observant and comfortable occasionally manually expressing his bladder to keep him comfortable and healthy.
Home Environment: A home with a fenced yard is ideal so he can easily step outside for frequent potty breaks and play sessions.
Dog Friendly: Fang loves canine companions and would do great in a home with other friendly dogs!
