Bowie is a calm, steady companion who easily makes himself at home wherever he is. He walks well on a leash, sleeps through the night in our groom room without any trouble, and gets along with every dog he meets. He rode in the car without a moment of motion sickness and is fully housetrained. His energy runs on the low setting, but the pilot light is very much on, and he moves well for his age.
Bowie is devoted to people. He will follow you from room to room, offer kisses freely, and stay close by because that is where he is happiest. He has tested positive for heartworms and has not yet started treatment, which will call for a period of medicine and restricted activity. Fortunately, resting comfortably is a regimen he already follows on his own, and outside of heartworms he is in good health.
