Arrival

When Fang came to us, he couldn't walk. His back legs dragged underneath him because someone had stolen his independence.

Surgery

Surgeons carefully removed the fragments and performed delicate spinal surgery. Now the real work of healing could begin.

Uncertainty

Last week, we placed Fang in a donated wheelie for the first time. Hesitant at the sight of the strange contraption, he sought reassurance from staff.

Discovery

At Austin Veterinary & Emergency Services, imaging revealed a BB lodged in his back, barely an inch from his spine. The evidence spoke clearly: this wasn't an accident.

Recovery

Fang receives physical therapy three times daily. His spirit is so strong that between sessions, he has to stay crated or he'll scoot himself all over the place, determined to explore.
