Foxy came to us from a large-scale rescue involving 75 dogs. While many of her companions are making steady progress in their new homes, Foxy is taking a little more time to feel comfortable. Having lived her whole life in an overwhelming environment, she's still learning what it means to be safe and cared for.

Foxy is very cautious around people and new surroundings. She's working through her fears at her own pace and hasn't quite learned yet that humans can be trusted friends. At around three years old, she missed out on early socialization experiences, which means she'll need patient, specialized care and a dedicated adopter who understands her journey will take time.

With the right person and approach, Foxy has the potential to thrive. She just needs someone willing to meet her where she is and help her discover that the world can be a kind place.
